He was predeceased by: his parents, George Bender and Clara Bender (Feighner); his sister Bernice Seng; and his son-in-law Ricky Lee Dobson. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Bender (Meckley); and his children, Rebecca Lynam (David), Barbara Dobson, Thomas Bender (Bev), Richard Bender (Lisa), Timothy Bender (Debra), Lisa Kuzar (Denny) and Danny Higgins (Heidi).
