With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rosemary Maurer of Carrolltown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 4, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, DeSales Switzler and Regina Switzler (Carlheim); her husband Robert F. Maurer; her grandchildren, Devin James Maurer, Eric Michael Kelly and Tonia Danyel Yeckley; and her siblings, Francis, Alfred, Donald, Doneath Switzler-Mandish and Margueritte Switzler-Farabaugh.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Maurer (Jean McConnell), Virginia, Mary Jane Rowland, Thomas (Tammy Lentz), Patricia Ann (Mike), Robert Maurer (Chrissy Born), Annette Feighner, Donald Maurer (Sue Lidwell), Edward Maurer, William Maurer (Brenda Long), Donita Kelly (Mark) of Ohio, Sally Stolz (Stan) and Clinton Maurer (Jenny Kuntzman); and her sister-in-law Betty Lou Switzler. She is also survived by 31 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren.
