He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Johns and Blanche Johns (Laney); and his siblings, Rothard Johns, Velma and Wilma Johns.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Eva Johns (Lute); his children, David Johns, Chuck Johns (Carol), Tom Johns (Deb) and Flo Baugh; and his sister Lavada Sensabaugh (Jack). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
