She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Strawn Phariss and Helen Carter Phariss. She is survived by: her spouse James Louis Pitzer; her children, James Michael Pitzer (Nance) of Germantown, Steven Robert Pitzer of Pasadena, California, Victoria Liberty (Bruce) of Encino and Kristi Kielman (Michael) of Carnegie; and her sisters, Carol Phariss of Missouri and Jane. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
