He was predeceased by: his spouse Marie E. "Sue" Mixter (Esplen); and his parent Charles Mixter. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Jr and Ronald Jason Mixter, Jr.; his stepchildren, Amanda and Gina; his parent Sandra Mixter; and his siblings, Charles, Jeffrey, Lori and Tammy.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made to the family to help cover funeral expenses.
