She was predeceased by : her parents, Byron Folmer and Louise Folmer (Follen); her son Timothy Katterson; and her siblings, Scott Folmer and Laura Folmer.

She is survived by : her son Jason Katterson; her daughter-in-law Desiree Vanzin; her grandchildren, Dylan Katterson, Brianna Vanzin, McKylah Vanzin and Skylynne Vanzin; and her brothers, Steven Folmer (Linda Rae), Michael Folmer (Brenda) and David Folmer (Lisa). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Monday, July 1st 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Schellhaas Funeral Home & Cremation (388 Center Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15229). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 1st 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
