She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Rivers and Mary Jane Rivers; her grandfather Isiah Sellers; her uncle Rev. James Simmons; her sons, Curtis Leroy Ramos, Edward McCants, Jr. and Carlos McCants; her husband Edward McCants, Sr. (Through); her son Felix Ramos; her aunt Rene; her brothers, John B., Moses, Daniel, Calvin and Russell; her granddaughter Dion Tate; and her great grandchild Jordan Lewis.
She is survived by: her aunt Irene Simmons; her significant other Felix Ramos; her daughters, Muriel Bliss Ramos Tate and Sharri Fultz; her grandchildren, Darnell, Jr. (Shanika), Dorrien (Shellie), DaMura (Dalynn), DaiLynn (Nate), Nina and Paisley; her son-in-law Darnell, Sr.; and her sisters, Gladys, Juanita, Joan, Jean (Louis) and Audrey (Alfred Brown). She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
