He is survived by: his wife Patricia Anne Stoddart Core; his son Steven Core (Amanda) of West Mifflin, PA; his grandchildren, Jeremy, Justin Core and Alexis Gorby; his stepchildren, Michael Terry of Langton, Ontario and Jennifer Terry of Ottawa, Ontario; his stepgrandchildren, Hunter Terry, Sailor Dykeman and Emma Terry; and his siblings, Ron (Jerry), Hazel Ohler, Teresa Barley of Uniontown, PA, Dora Hagner of Masontown, PA, Jeannette Core of Outcrop, PA and Faye Jordan of Ohio.
