He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Benzinger, and George F. Benzinger, Sr.; and his wife Janet Benzinger. He is survived by: his children, Lorianne Cordoba (Jesse), Stacy Mitrik (Chris) and Neil Benzinger; his grandchildren, Jack, Bryce, Jessica, Abigail, Taylor, Ashleigh, Harrison and Brooks; and his brother Paul Benzinger.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care (5405 Steubenville Pike, McKees Rocks, PA 15136). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. The inurnment was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies (1158 Morgan Rd, Bridgeville, PA 15017).
