He was predeceased by: his spouse Jane Janas; and his sibling Alberta Gazda. He is survived by: his children, Janet Ross (late John, Sr.), Paulette Oroukin (John), Frank J. Janas, Jr. (Barbara) and Eric P. Janas; his siblings, Cecelia Hebbeler (Red), Helen Rupinsky, Jane Ivanhoe, Walter Janas and John Janas; his grandchildren, John (Vanessa), Jessica Ross, Grace, David (Jennifer) and Michael Janas; and his great grandchildren, Benjamin Ross and Julia Ross.
