He was predeceased by: his parents, Amel Matiyasic and Helen Matiyasic (Radinich). He is survived by: his wife Dorothy J. Kolat; his children, Sean Matiyasic (Markie) of Carmichaels, Joshua Matiyasic (Robin) of Prosperity, Stephanie Skobel (Justin) of Clarksville, Tera Shashura (Bobby) of Fredericktown and Stephen Matiyasic of Marianna; his grandchildren, Leo Matiyasic, Layla Matiyasic, Colby Matiyasic, Dayton Stevulak, Dalton Johnston, Trinity Skobel, Jacob Skobel, Dylan Shashura and Blake Shashura; his great grandchildren, Cadence Corey and Violet Johnston; and his siblings, Margie Brown of Fredericktown, Annamarie Mikalik (Mike) of Carmichaels, Jerry Matiyasic, Tommy Matiyasic, Nick Pordash, Pete Pordash, Mary Ann Sherry, Ginny Valenzuela and Bernice Skobel. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
