It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose Mendarino of Carmichaels, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 25, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Rose farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Rose is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl A. Mendarino, and Josephine M. Mendarino, Sr. (Palone). She is survived by: her siblings, Grace Manges (James) of Donora, Gloria Backstrom (Robert) of West Newton, Beatrice Mendarino of Carmichaels and Carl Mendarino, Jr. of Carmichaels; her brothers-in-law, Donald Garland of Amity and Bernie Reday of Monessen; and her sisters, Yolanda Reday and Joan Garland. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
