Michael left this world on November 17, 2024 at the age of 57, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his mother Shirley Jean Watona Zalar (Jim Zalar) of Carmichaels; and his uncle George Smoody. He is survived by: his wife Tracy R. Zalar (Ganocy); his children, Kaitlyn Marie Zalar of Leesburg, VA, Andrew Nicholas Zalar of Leesburg, VA and Jackson Leonard Zalar of Leesburg, VA; the father of his child Jim Zalar; his stepmother Paula Zalar of Carmichaels; his stepchildren, Chelsee McFarland (Scott) of Lakewood, CO and Shelbee McCann; his stepsister Melissa Dlugos (James); his nephew Matthew; his niece Sophie; his stepbrother Jim Jones (Lisa); his niece Cara; his parents-in-law, Ken and Betty Ganocy; his sister-in-law Shannon Adamson; and his nephews, Ambrose and Aydan.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Yoskovich Funeral Home (300 S Vine St, Carmichaels, PA 15320). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at the Laurel Point Cemetery (495 N Market St, Carmichaels, PA 15320).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Carmichaels Senior Citizens Center, Inc. P.O. Box 184, Carmichaels, PA 15320.
