Shaffer of Carmichaels, Pennsylvania, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on October 28, 2020, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle L. Shaffer and Pearl E. Shaffer (Clark). He is survived by: his children, David M. Shaffer (Darla) of Republic and Brandi Lynn Merritt (Robert) of Conroe, Tex.; his grandsons, Adam Merritt, Dylan Hladinec, Colton Shaffer and Dustin Shaffer; his siblings, Lloyd R. Shaffer (Annetta) of Carmichaels, Ricky L. Shaffer (Joy) of Masontown and Vicky L. Shaffer Novak (Jeff) of Greensboro; his brother-in-law Dave Phillips of Garards Fort; and his sister Darlene F. Phillips. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Per the recommendation of the Centers for Disease Control, social distancing and face masks will be required in the funeral home.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to a local veterans organization.
