She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne E. George and Kathryn George; her husband Robert "Bob" E. Shaeffer; and her sisters, Linda George, Ruth Kisor and Nancy Pullins.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Seebode (Frank) of Delaware, Bobbie Weekley (Steve) of Lancaster, Barbara Tuinstra (Darren) of Circleville, Ohio and Charles Shaeffer (Kelly) of Carmichaels, Pennsylvania; her brother Tom George (Leanna) of Bellefontaine, Ohio; and her siblings-in-law, Willie and Tammy Bigham of Amanda, Ohio. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren.
