It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce McCartney Mitchell of Carmichaels, Pennsylvania, born in Altoona, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 28, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Donald G. Mitchell; and her great-nephew Jackson G. Beezhold. She is survived by: her mother Carolyn K. Mitchell (Campbell); her siblings, Robert Mitchell (Susan) and Rebecca Jackson (Timothy); her nephew Benjamin Jackson; and her nieces, Heather Mitchell, Carolyn Brejwo, Laurel Jackson, Claire Beezhold and Allison Moyer.
