He was predeceased by: his parents, William M. Helmick and Dorothy M. Helmick (Alderson). He is survived by: his children, John Helmick (Jenn) of Carmichaels, Jerry Helmick (Jenn) of Greensburg and Sondra Lemley (James) of Carmichaels; his grandchildren, Chance Lemley, Garrett Helmick, Wyatt Helmick and Camryn Lemley; his brother William R. "Chipper" Helmick (Linda) of Garards Fort; and his brothers-in-law, Mark Donaldson (Dee) of Martin, Jeff Donaldson (Terri) of Carmichaels and David Donaldson of Carmichaels. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
