It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edward M. Modrick of Carmichaels, Pennsylvania, born in Crucible, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 29, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike Modrick and Ada Modrick (Buskirk); and his brother Marvin L. Modrick. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Danforth; his daughters, Joanna L. Walker (Aaron) of Carmichaels, Melissa A. Christopher (Ryan) of Carmichaels and Natalie M. Ray (Jason) of Carmichaels; his grandchildren, Ryan Michael Christoper, Jr. (Maria), Taylor, Peyton, Braden Christopher, Bradley, Brookelynn, Brenna Walker, Abby and Owen Ray; his great grandchild Cecilia Lois Christopher; and his sisters-in-law, Carol Modrick of Carmichaels and Adele Modrick of San Antonio, Texas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
