He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl L. Mackey and Alice V. Mackey (Wilyard). He is survived by: his children, Sergeant Edward L. Mackey (Leann) of Montgomery, Ala. and Darlene R. Mackey (D. C.) of Washington; his grandchildren, Robert Edward Mackey, Samuel Aiden Mackey and Thomas Parker Mackey; and his sisters, Sally Mackey and Joanna Frederick. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
