It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donna D. Vavrek of Carmichaels, Pennsylvania, born in Nemacolin, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 24, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Dugan and Mary Orell Dugan (Taylor); her husband Frank A. Vavrek; her son Frank R. Vavrek; her grandson Michael John Vavrek; and her brothers, James O. Dugan, George "Bob" Dugan and Harry Dugan.
She is survived by: her children, William Vavrek of Nemacolin, James Vavrek (Janine Mansell) of Carmichaels and Mary Lou Loar (Jerry) of Manassas; her sister Carol Dugan Bowser (Herman) of Rices Landing; her sister-in-law Betty Dugan of Melbourne, Fla.; and her grandchildren, Stacey Vavrek Brodak (Joe), James Vavrek (Heather), William Vavrek (Traci), Heath Vavrek, Charles Vavrek, Karla Vavrek, Kyle Vavrek, Nicholas Vavrek, Traci Seto (Dan), Brian Swartz (Sherry) and Michael Swartz (Nicole). She is also survived by 26 great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.
