He is survived by: his parent Helen Thompson Mitchell; his wife Carolyn Campbell Mitchell; his children, Robert Mitchell (Susan) of Harrisburg, Rebecca Jackson (Timothy) of Morgantown, W. V and Joyce Mitchell of Carmichaels; his grandchildren, Heather Mitchell of Madison, Allison Moyer (Chuck) of Harrisburg, Benjamin Jackson (Melissa) of Morgantown, W. V, Carolyn Brejwo (Jeffrey) of Menomonee Falls, Laurel Jackson of Nashville and Claire Beezhold (Kevin) of Pittsburgh; his great grandchildren, Nolan Moyer, Stella, Susannah, Petra, Eleanor Brejwo, Charles, Adele and Wren Beezhold; and his brother Alan Mitchell (Betty) of Kittanning.
