Viola F. Smith Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Viola F. Smith (Carlisle, Pennsylvania), who passed away on December 3, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Viola farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Viola is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob F. Hoover Sr. and Grace M. Hoover (Garland); her husband Lester A. Smith; and her siblings, Oscar W. Hoover, Jacob F. Hoover Jr., Clarence Hoover, Helen Miller and Paulina A. Hoover. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Upper Frankford Brick Church Cemetery.
