She was predeceased by: her parents, John Clifford Mechan and Edna Frances Mechan (Bredder); her husband Ray E. Killinger; her son Michael Killinger; and her siblings, Edna Claire Jackson (Mechan) and John Clifford Mechan.
She is survived by: her close friend Jesse Fringer of Spring Grove, PA; and her children, Raymond Killinger (Judy) of Carlisle, Penny Killinger (Steve Todd) of Newville and Wayne Killinger (Becki) of Carlisle. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Valerie's honor be made to the Speranza Animal Rescue 1216 Brandt Rd, Mechanicsburg, PA., 17055.
