It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Shoemaker of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 22, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Shoemaker and Eleanor Shoemaker (Young); and his siblings, Helen Balmer, Ruth Hoffman, Robert Shoemaker and Charles Shoemaker.
He is survived by: his wife Pauline Shoemaker (Schlusser); his children, Linda Gorkes (Edward) of Ambler, Thomas Shoemaker, Jr. of Carlisle and Tammy Shoemaker (Troy Lamason) of Carlisle; and his grandchildren, Nicholas, Marisa, Madison Gorkes, Ashley Ackerman (Justin), Jessie White (Daniel), Dakota Painter (Ryan), Hunter Starr (Curtis), Callie Hinderliter, Caleb Lamason (Courtney) and Zachery Lamason (Jasmine). He is also survived by his thirteen great grandchildren.
