It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley A. Wade of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, born in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 9, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellsworth Gill and Lillian Gill (Kauffman); her former husband Glen Brinton; her husband Carl Wade; her daughter Cheryl Grace; her siblings, JimmyLou Mader, Yvonne Morrison and John Gill; and her close friend Raymond Horner.
She is survived by: her children, Gordon Brinton (Karen), Cinda Fox and Laura Blubaugh; her son-in-law Robert Grace; and her grandchildren, Rob Grace, Andrew Grace, Kimberly Fox, Jon Fox, Gordon Brinton Jr., Timothy Brinton, Julie Hardy, Emily Tsambiras, Clayton Sweeney and Carson Sweeney. She is also survived by twenty-six great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
