He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester F. Starner and Maybelle M. Starner (Showers); and his brother Terry Starner. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Starner (Group) of Carlisle; his sons, Todd Starner of Mt. Holly Springs and Mark Starner (Brenda) of Gardners; his grandchildren, Joshua Starner (Braydon), Jeremiah Starner (Jenilyn), Jacob Starner (Amanda), Sarah Starner, Amber Jones (Tarence) and Taylore Brownewell; his sister Dorale Frykman of Gardners; and his pet Rudi.
