He was predeceased by: his parents, David C. Wetzel and Aletha P. Wetzel (Karns); his wife Annabelle M. Wetzel (Snyder); and his siblings, Marlin Wetzel and Jean Finkenbinder.

He is survived by: his siblings, Glenn Wetzel of Plainfield, Kenneth Wetzel of Carlisle, Dorothy Lamason of Carlisle and Marjorie Haus of Carlisle. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to his church.
