It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Revenda R. Burdette of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 20, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid adieu to Revenda's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Revenda has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Ocker, Sr. and Ruth Ocker (Koontz); her husband Samuel R. Burdette, Sr.; and her siblings, Helen Ocker, Claire Rowe, Esther Cassel and Norman Ocker, Jr..
She is survived by: her siblings, Richard Ocker (Esther) of Carlisle and Faye Hall (Jim) of New Kingstown. She is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ronan Funeral Home (255 York Rd, Carlisle, PA 17013). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
