He was predeceased by: his parents, John R. Ruegg and Dorthea K. Ruegg (Hindley); his son Steven C. Ruegg; and his brothers, Thomas J. Ruegg and Herbert Ruegg.
He is survived by: his children, P. Jed Ruegg (Kathleen) of Carlisle, E. Lorraine "Lorrie" Rhoads of Carlisle and Brian Scott Ruegg of Gardners. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home (630 S Hanover St, Carlisle, PA 17013). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
