She was predeceased by: her parents, James McCarthy and Margaret McCarthy; her husband Ralph "June" Edgar Rice; her son Steven R. Rice; her grandson Mark Brickner; and her siblings, Virginia, Peggy, Tom, Jerry, Mike and Dave.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Beaston of Carlisle and Kevin Rice (Rebecca) of North Carolina; her grandchildren, Mike Brickner, Stacey Wills, Leah and Sawyer Rice; and her brother James "Jimmy" McCarthy of Georgia. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
