He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonse Francis and Amelia Bernadette Sobotor (Brenner); his former wife Patricia Sobotor; and his brother Alphonse Robert Sobotor. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Anne Sobotor (Messick) of Carlisle; his daughter Lauren Skaare (Justin) of Louisville, CO; his stepchildren, Beth Smith of Harrisburg, John Knudson (Crystal) of Lititz, PA, Matthew Wright (Samantha) of Aspers and Jesse Wright (Donna) of Arendtsville; and his brother William Joseph Sobotor (Diane) of Harrisburg. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren.
Mike was able to give back by donating his eyes for research.
