We are sad to announce that on September 19, 2024, at the age of 78, Michael F. Jones (Carlisle, Pennsylvania), born in Eubank, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Michael's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Michael has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar E. Jones and Jesse C. Jones (Adams); and his siblings, Wendell Jones and Nancy Jones. He is survived by: his wife Gail P. Jones (Bannan); his children, Michael J. Jones, Jennifer K. Jones (Peter Mazzola) and Kimberly K. Jones-Scanlon (Justin R. Scanlon); and his siblings, Bernice Jones, Georgia Jones and Ted Jones. He is also survived by grandchildren, and (5) great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory (2020 W Trindle Rd, Carlisle, PA 17013). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Patrick Cemetery.
