She was predeceased by: her parents, Emory Meter and Thelma Van Meter (Gordon); her spouse Thomas W. Benson; and her son Charles Emory Kimble. She is survived by: her children, Denise Starner of Carlisle, David Roldan of Carlisle, Scott Starner of Carlisle and Christal Blakesslee (Kenneth) of Boiling Springs; her adoptive daughter Maria Sapio of Carlisle; her grandchildren, Andru Starner and Paige Blakesslee; her great grandchildren, Emmarie and Elliana Frock; and her sister Barbara Winebrenner (Charles) of Maryland.
