She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Chester and Martha Elizabeth Deitz (Fearnbaugh); and her husband Walter R. Sowers III. She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer Sowers; her sister Jane Simpson (Randy); her nieces, Renee Shindel (Jesse) and Brooke Butler Wagner (Joshua); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Jayden, Hannah, Ryder, Reagan and Everly; and her pet Nittany.
Viewing was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ronan Funeral Home (255 York Rd, Carlisle, PA 17013). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
