He was predeceased by: his parents, Zeke Mountz and Jane Mountz (Harris); his daughter Donna Mountz; his son-in-law Lonnie Garland Sr.; and his stepchildren, Ruby Garland and Ralph Garland.
He is survived by: his daughter Nancy Garland of Shermans Dale; his stepchildren, Ruth Wentz of Hanover, Bob Garland (Dory) of Blain and Rita Garland of Shippensburg; his half-siblings, Elmer Mountz of Carlisle and Dorothy Mountz of Carlisle; his grandchildren, Mandy Garland of Shermans Dale, Tiffany Lambert (Josh) of Newville, Lacy Garland of Carlisle, Lonnie Garland Jr. (Amanda) of New Bloomfield and Debra Mountz of Carlisle; and his stepgrandchildren, Star Shopp of Newville, Michael Garland of Carlisle, Garth Garland of York and Chip Garland of York. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; and 14 step great-grandchildren.
