With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Katharine A. Garcia of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 6, 2025 at the age of 91. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Darbrow and Mildred Darbrow; her children, Harry Bishop, Wally Bishop, Serafin Garcia and Miriam Garcia; and her spouse Elfren Garcia Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Elfren Garcia Jr. (Deborah), Lidia Leicht (Robert) and Luz Garcia; and her brother George Darbrow. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wiedeman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. (357 S Harrisburg St, Oberlin, PA 17113). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens (6701 Jonestown Rd, Harrisburg, PA 17112).
