He was predeceased by: his brothers, Alberto García-Tuñón, Carlos García-Tuñón and Miguel García-Tuñón. He is survived by: his wives, Sue and Meredith García-Tuñón; his siblings, Cristina Richards, Alvaro García-Tuñón and Cecilia Lear; his sisters-in-law, Elena García-Tuñón and Gisela García-Tuñón; and also, Sean García-Tuñón, Colin García-Tuñón of Mechanicsburg, Nick García-Tuñón (Emily) of Boston and Susan García-Tuñón. He is also survived by friends from around the world and was a beloved mentor.
