With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph I. Moorhatch (Carlisle, Pennsylvania), born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 15, 2024 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joseph I. Moorhatch to pay them a last tribute.
As Joseph departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Joseph. Though Joseph may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Moorhatch and Merion Moorhatch (Read). He is survived by: his wife Rosalie Moorhatch (DiBenedetto); his children, Stephen Moorhatch (Jennifer) of Broomall and Linda Lehigh (David) of Mechanicsburg; and his grandchildren, Joshua (Cassidy), Cody, Christopher, Katelyn and Stephanie.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel Pointe (770 S Hanover St, Carlisle, PA 17013).
