He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Heider and Pauline Heider (Ford). He is survived by: his wife Shirley Heider (Holley); his stepchildren, Richard Holley and Betty Hartman; his grandchildren, Angela and Christopher Hartman; and his brothers, Tim Heider (Jodi) of Dillsburg and Donald Heider of Carlisle. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many cousins.
