He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel F. Pentz and Edna F. Pentz (Miner); and his siblings, June Wolff, Merle "Nub" Pentz, Rev. Croft Pentz, Robert Pentz and Clint Pentz.
He is survived by: his significant other Joan C. Pentz (Knox); his daughters, Jonnie S. Black (Lanny) of Carlisle and Michele R. Brunner (Alan) of Carlisle; his grandchildren, Jordan Black (Megan) of Carlisle, Chelsea Ellis (Colton) of Carlisle, Noah Brunner of Carlisle and Kelsey Snyder (Christian) of Harrisburg; his great grandchildren, Aubrey of Carlisle and C. J. Ellis of Carlisle; and his siblings, George W. Pentz of Waynesboro, Catherine Pentz of Waynesboro and Mary Coldsmith of Chambersburg. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
