With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Roe Ketchum in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, born in Rochester, New York, who passed away on February 21, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara; his son Austin; his sisters, Joan Selner and Anne Orlando; and his parents, George Ketchum and Mary Ketchum.
He is survived by: his siblings, Kate Gibbs, Ellen Pullman, Dick Ketchum and Dan Ketchum; and his children, John Ketchum (Katherine) of Alexandria, VA, Sarah Baker (David) of Hancock, ME and Timothy Ketchum (Carolyn) of Portland, OR. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made in Jim's name to the Gettysburg Community Soup Kitchen (gettysburgsoupkitchen.org) or Capitol Hill Village (capitolhillvillage.org).
