It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Chronister of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 29, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mervin "Mike" Chronister and Margaret "Peg" Mohler Chronister; and his siblings, Percy (Jane), Norman (Berta), Charles "Chuck" Chronister (Barb) and Nora Hill.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor "Viki" Estep Chronister; his daughters, Jody Mukalian of Lewisberry, PA, Torri Chronister and Jandi McAdams of Carlisle, PA; his son-in-law Kevin McAdams of Carlisle, PA; his granddaughters, Nicole Spotts and Brynlee McAdams; his sisters, Betty Walters (Ken) of Camp Hill, PA, Peggy Wagner (Rick) of Lexington, KY and Connie Strausbaugh (Earl) of Hanover, PA; his sisters-in-law, Berta Chronister of Carlisle, PA, Chris Halicki (Bud) of Chambersburg, PA and Patti Creamer (Darrell) of Chambersburg, PA; and his pets, Starsky and Skylah. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
