We are sad to announce that on October 30, 2024, at the age of 84, Evelyn C. Reed of Carlisle, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Evelyn is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Evelyn's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Cressler and Martha Cressler (Miller); and her husband William "Bill" Reed. She is survived by: her children, Beth Nickel (Denny) of Carlisle and Robert Reed (Lauren Hagen) of Carlisle; her grandsons, Drew W. Nickel (Kaitlyn), Tanner C. Nickel and Ethan D. Reed; and her sisters, Doris Marks (Dave) of Boiling Springs and Gloria Ramirez of Carlisle.
