With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ethel M. Barnett of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, born in Hampden Township, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 14, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Charles M. Barnett, Jr.; her parents, Harry E. Lichtenberger and Z. Ellen Lichtenberger (Baitsell); and her siblings, Harry, John, Robert Lichtenberger, Edith Lehman, Mary Alspaugh, Fannie Jones and Ruth Brougher.
She is survived by: her children, Charles M. Barnett, III (Elaine) of Carlisle, PA and Marie E. Bergey (Scott) of Bechtelsville, PA; her grandchildren, Megan Bishop (Justin), Ashley Cobb (Nathan), Travis Barnett (Mackenzie), Amber Wahlberg (Scott), Jarrod Bergey (Anna) and Nathan Bergey (Kirsten); her great grandchildren, Lennon Bishop, Elaina Cobb, Nixon Bishop, Adelynn Cobb, Tyson Wahlberg, Desirae Wahlberg, Vanessa Wahlberg, Brielyn Wahlberg, Eden Bergey, Kaleia Bergey, Joshua Bergey and Zeke Bergey; and her sisters, Grace Pierce of Annville, PA and Elizabeth Myers of Mechanicsburg, PA..
