Erwin C. Hess Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 12, 2024, at the age of 97, Erwin C. Hess of Carlisle, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hess and Bessie Hess (Garman); his wife Helen Hess (Clausen); his daughter Patricia Bucher; and his siblings, George, John, Morris Hess, Rhoda Schlegel and Frieda Moyer.

He is survived by: his children, Heidi Blauser (Gary) of Dover, Gretchen Miller (Gregory Jr.) of Carlisle, Joseph Vrataric (Keni) of Lancaster, CA and Nick Vrataric (Debbie Ambill) of Hanover; his grandchildren, Calvin, Abigail, Janelle, Kyra, Hope, BJ and Adrianne; and his great grandchildren, Roselyn and Bailey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
