He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Smith and Clella Smith (Mix); and his siblings, Gertrude and Jerry. He is survived by: his children, Ellen Ilundain (Jose Miguel) of Spain and Mark E. Smith (Linda) of Texas; his grandchildren, Margo C. Stanton (Patrick) of Carlisle, Amber Smith of Carlisle, Alex Ilundain (Fatima) of Spain and Mitchell Smith of Texas; his great grandchildren, James Stanton (Alex) of Fayetteville, Elysia Bibb of Carlisle, Cristina Stanton of Carlisle, Lana Stanton of Carlisle, Alex of Spain and Yago Ilundain of Spain; and his sister Irene McGinnis of New York. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
