He was predeceased by: his wife Marianne Essl; and his daughter Denise Essl Haley. He is survived by: his daughters, Gerianne and Christiana; his granddaughters, Rebecca Haley, Amanda Smitley, Jessica Zemiatis and Christiana Melton; and his great grandchild Peyton Zemaitis.
