It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris A. Brackbill of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, born in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 18, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvan Wood and Anna Wood (Taylor); her spouse Lee Brackbill Jr.; and her brother Richard Wood (Shirley). She is survived by: her children, Donald Brackbill (Susan) of Boiling Springs and Carol Barrett (Steven) of Carlisle; her grandchildren, Matthew Brackbill (Meagan) of Mt. Holly Springs, Cory Brackbill of Mt. Holly Springs and Katie Fuller (Mark) of Mechanicsburg; her siblings, Nevin Wood (Gayle) of Mt. Holly Springs and Mildred Skelly of Mechanicsburg; and her sister-in-law Brenda Wood (late Marlin) of Mechanicsburg. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
