He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Hamilton and Ellen Lucille Bletz, Jr. (Hoover); his grandfather Ferree Hess Hoover of Lancaster County; his siblings, Louise Bletz Cofer and Paul H. Bletz III; and his wife Patricia Ann Thomas Bletz.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Claire Desroches Bletz of Stevensville, MT; his children, T. Michael Bletz (Kathi Shuttleworth Bletz) of Carlisle, Susan Bletz Kennell of Port Washington, WI and Wendy Bletz Turner (Jeffrey Turner) of Boise, ID; his grandchildren, Claire Bletz Wolf (Michael), Molly Bletz, Caitlin Kennell Kim, Derek Kennell and Meagan Turner Fackler (Andrew); and his great grandchildren, Theodore, Lucy, Zoe, Phoebe, Moira, Olivia Kim, Lana, Jasper Wolf, Wyatt, Weston Fackler, Forrest and Leo Turner.
