He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henderson Lightner and Rose Marie Alvarez (Lambert). He is survived by: his wife Susan M. Lightner (Herman); his children, Daniel Lightner of Carlisle and Janelle "Ellie" Coyne of Carlisle; his siblings, Annette Warmelink of Crown Point and John Lightner of Young Harris; his grandsons, Weston, Austin and Evan; and his mother-in-law Marie Herman (Stets) of Carlisle. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
